Vucedol archaeological site is one of the most significant archaeological sites in Europe, whose culture during the Neolithic, in the third millennium BC, occupied the space of today's twelve European countries. The contemporary permanent museum exhibition fully represents the achievements of Vucedol culture, while the museum building is a unique medium that connects the outer environment of the Museum with its permanent display. Vucedol can be characterised as a source of European civilisation located on the second largest European river, but also as a European Troy, due to the importance of the site and its findings. The Vucedol Culture Museum is a top archaeological, museological and architectural project that presents a cultural phenomenon of civilisation through its daily life, but also spiritual, intellectual and revolutionary technological achievements in its newly opened museum exhibition.
